Because modular construction is also designed for disassembly, it has a high end of life value. As modular construction can be delivered quickly, it can earn income much earlier than traditional construction in the likes of student accommodation, hotels and BTR.

Conveying this information to clients is therefore an important part of the story when explaining the benefits of modular construction. As countries around the world have a legal requirement to report their carbon emissions, accurately calculating the embodied and operational carbon of projects is key to government targets and accessing green funding.
